Notice on the use of artificial intelligence
Version 1.0 β July 29, 2026
Why this page
Bloomup S.r.l. hereby explicitly states in which areas and under which principles artificial intelligence is used in its professional activities. Publishing this notice is first and foremost a matter of transparency toward clients, suppliers and collaborators. It also fulfils the transparency obligations set out by the applicable Italian and European regulations on artificial intelligence.
Where we use AI
Artificial intelligence is used by Bloomup as an operational support tool within defined areas. Applications include assistance with software development and code review, analysis of business data and reporting, drafting and review of technical and functional documentation, meeting summarisation and internal notes, and support in preparing and reviewing commercial documents and quotations.
In each of these areas, AI supports staff during phases where it can accelerate or improve execution, without altering the scope of the services contracted with the client or their professional nature.
The principle: a tool, not a decision-maker
At Bloomup, artificial intelligence operates as a support tool for staff and not as a substitute for human judgement. Every output produced with the aid of AI systems is reviewed and validated by the assigned staff before being delivered to the client or used within a project.
Professional responsibility for deliverables remains entirely with Bloomup, regardless of the tools used to produce them. No decision affecting the client, its employees or its end users is taken in a fully automated manner.
Project recommendations, technical assessments and commercial proposals are drafted and signed by assigned individuals, based on their expertise and knowledge of the client's context.
Limits we set for ourselves
Bloomup does not use artificial intelligence systems for automated decision-making processes that produce legal or similarly significant effects on clients, their contacts or their end users. It does not use AI for purposes prohibited by European regulations on the matter, nor in ways that circumvent transparency or oversight obligations.
Artificial intelligence does not replace professional judgement in assessments, project recommendations and methodological choices. No content produced entirely by automated means is delivered to the client without human review by the assigned staff.
Data and confidentiality
Where the use of AI tools involves the processing of personal data, the relevant providers act as sub-processors on the basis of agreements entered into pursuant to Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
The full regime governing the processing of personal data β including the categories of data collected, the legal bases, the purposes pursued, the storage arrangements and the rights granted to data subjects β is set out in the site's privacy policy.
At the client's written request and within the scope of the contract, Bloomup may agree in writing on specific limitations to the use of AI tools on a given project, provided this remains consistent with the objectives of the service.
